Care for your pharmacy so that pharmacy can care for you
Pharmacy Cares shares information about the help you can find at your local pharmacy.
We are in this together.
We’ll get through this together.
Community pharmacy is the front door to the NHS and our teams are working hard during the COVID 19 outbreak to help every person in every community. Wherever you are, we are not far away and we’re here to help. These are some of the ways we are doing that right now.
You can download and share ‘Care for your pharmacy’ resources here.
Caring for your health

We are working hard to prepare more prescriptions than usual and so your prescription may take longer than normal.
We are available on the end of the phone if you cannot come in, to help with medicines and minor illness advice.
We can also help you with medicines purchased over the counter and health and wellbeing advice to keep you well, for example stop smoking.
Caring for each other

Medicine stocks levels are close to normal and so please order only what you need so that there’s enough for everybody.
Please observe social distancing marks and don’t come in at all if you have any symptoms which could be COVID19.
If you want your medicines delivered then please ask a family member, friend or volunteer so that we can deliver to those who most need our help.
Caring for our teams

Please be patient with us, and be kind. We really want to help. Respect our staff, they are here to help you.
Our teams have families too and are working to help you despite very challenging circumstances.
We understand that you are worried however we will under no circumstances tolerate abusive behaviour towards us.
