Pharmacy cares for when you and members of your family are feeling under the weather. Our trained teams will ask you some questions to help understand what might be going on – what symptoms have you had and how long have you had them, what have you tried already and do you have any medical conditions that we should know about? We will also ask about any other medicines you might be taking so that we can make sure anything we recommend is safe.
We can help treat symptoms for many common illnesses including headache, muscle and joint pain, indigestion, diarrhoea, nausea, migraine, hayfever, dry eye, blepharitis, eye infections, dermatitis, insect bites and stings, dry skin, thrush, head lice, dandruff, sore throats, chickenpox, rashes, verrucas, warts, coughs, colds, gingivitis and mouth ulcers, fungal infections, stomach cramps and constipation. In addition, we can provide support for more intimate health concerns such as emergency hormonal contraception and erectile dysfunction.
Pharmacists have been trained for 5 years before qualifying and will know whether your symptoms can be treated without seeing a doctor, or whether you might need to have some additional help to get better.
